Double Life (by youngdirectoraward)
on The Oscars
It seems untoward for CinemaSlam not to make some official mention of the Oscar nominated animated shorts. All of them were worthy of their nominations, and the winner, Logorama, deserved the prize. But your faithful curator would like to mention the two films she found most charming, even though they went home empty-handed:
Granny O’Grimm (Ireland)
A bedtime tale gone just a little bit off.
The Lady and her Reaper (Spain)
A surreal struggle between life and death, literally.
(This is an animation.)
